Delete your account

1. How to request deletion

• Send an email to privacy@hooky-ai.comwith the subject “Delete my Hooky account”.
• Send it from the email address of your Hooky account if you can. Tell us how you sign in (Google, GitHub or email) and your account email or GitHub username, so we can find the right account.
• We may ask you to confirm the request from the account’s email address or the linked sign-in provider before we delete anything. This stops other people from deleting your account.
• We will confirm by email when the deletion is complete, normally within 30 days of your verified request.

2. What we delete

• Your Hooky account: user ID, name, username, avatar, email address and password hash.
• Every sign-in method linked to the account (Google, GitHub, email).
• Plan and usage records: plan grants and monthly usage counters for voice, polish, calls, skills and file transfers.
• Push-notification tokens and device and relay pairing records.
• Messages and delivery records that our servers hold for your account.

3. What we may keep

• Purchase and transaction records that we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons. We keep them only for the period the law requires.
• Operational logs that our systems overwrite or expire automatically. We do not use them to identify you once your account is deleted.
• Data held by external providers (for example Apple, Google, GitHub or your coding agent’s provider). Their own policies control how long they keep it.

4. Things you should do yourself

• Cancel any paid subscription in the App Store or Google Play. Deleting your Hooky account does not stop store billing.
• Remove data on your phone. Your chat history, projects and encrypted backups are stored only on your phone. Uninstall the app to remove them.
• Uninstall the Hooky VS Code extension from any computer where you no longer want it.
